Muscat – Travel industry executives have hailed the unified GCC visa – expected to be implemented soon – as a milestone for residents and international tourists alike. The decision, endorsed by the Gulf Cooperation Council member states’ tourism ministers on October 8, was reached unanimously at a meeting held in Muscat.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship H E Salim Mohammed al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism.
