Minister of Economy receives UNFPA representative to GCC countries

Muscat: Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy on Sunday received Karl Kulessa, Country Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

The meeting discussed the programme and work undertaken by the fund during the current period in Oman and the GCC countries. It also touched on the reports that are being prepared by the fund.

Moreover, the meeting reviewed challenges and opportunities arising from population growth (both Omanis and expats).
