Siemens has partnered with Kuwait University to launch the Gulf Cooperation Council’s first Distributed Energy Systems (DES) Smart Lab.

Set to open in the second half of 2025, this facility will be instrumental in developing low-carbon energy systems and fostering innovative smart energy technologies, significantly benefiting students, businesses, and the industry both locally and regionally.
